HIS STORY - IN BRIEF...
I had followed Hungarian 'Born To Be Corgi's' and Alexandra Trefan-Torok, on Facebook for quite some time. Always admiring their beautiful and regularly successful Corgi's.

I'd had a dream for some years, to import a lovely male Pembroke, to show and eventually breed with. I had thought I'd get a puppy....

One day I decided to reach out to Alexandra. I didn't think a such a prolific breeder would consider my request but how wrong could I have been! I had mentioned I would love to bring one of her well bred dogs here to Australia. A male puppy, but I was also very open to an adult dog. After regular chats, Alexandra offered me 'Signo'! He had a very special place in her heart. A dog she had dreamed of breeding. He started winning from and early age in Europe and he accompanied Alexandra and her Husband, Sandor to the USA, where he competed with success at the Corgi Nationals. They shared many memorable moments including a walk in Central Park and viewing Niagara Falls! The combination also won Best Puppy In Show at World Dog Show, Madrid, 2022 and Best Puppy at Eurocorgi.

'Signo', who is all clear on the DNA panel including the fluff gene, is a natural bobtail and has excellent hips and eyes, would be the perfect addition to Bunyaview, as well the Australian Pembroke genetic pool. His herding instinct is INCREDIBLE. First time ever herding sheep and he excelled. He's a herding machine! I hope to be able to upload the video of this when I am able.

It took almost 12 months but 'Signo' arrived at Bunyaview on the 2nd June, 2024. He has settled in incredibly well and starting showing here in Australia only 2 weeks later. He's had some wonderful wins and will soon be an Australian Champion. Most of all, he has stolen my heart. This sweet Hungarian boy, will have his forever home here with his small band of girlfriends.

We now have friends in Alexandra and Sandor, two people who are completely devoted to their corgi family. We saw this first hand on our visit to Hungary in May 2024. I cannot recommend them enough as breeders and genuinely good people who are happy to help anyone on their journey with corgi's. How lucky were we!

We cannot thank his breeders enough for entrusting this beautiful soul with us here in Australia, so far from his home. I know it was very hard to let him go, but I will look after him and love him for the rest of his days.

'Signo' will be shown during the remainder of 2024 and we hope to have some beautiful babies by him in the near future. He will also be offered at Stud to genuine, ethical breeders.
